no hes just gay...
he befriends a young boy after reading his book, but its a psychological thriller so it plays with your mind so its not what it seems in the end...

No, he was recovering from a breakup and was trying to find out if he was being fooled or not. I don't think he is interested in the boy sexually at all. The movie was terrible.

No...it is based on a true story (a hoax).
But, he isn't a pedophile, he is just trying to help someone who says he is dying!
