I'm doing research for a master's degree thesis; I am making a distinction between the Mystery-Suspense Thriller and the Action/Adventure Thriller. I also don't wish to consider horror movies at this time. I'm looking for mysteries, film noir, detective films, etc. Note: For the purposes of my research, I would include Hitchcock in this category, except for Psycho & the Birds, which fall into the horror category. There is a green and orange striped house in the first few scenes of this movie. It moves around and is not there through out the entire movie. Does anyone know what Tim Burton was saying with this house, or is it just one of his additions to the movie to make it unique?

The creatures had giant teeth and flew like saucers. The Boy Scouts and their leader ran into a house in the woods and thought they escaped, only to find many more creatures in the house. I've been trying to find this movie for years. I saw it when I was real little and have remembered it ever since. Thanks if you can figure out the riddle.

I'm so sick of that guy. Memento is the sort of movie pseudo-intellectual people pretend to like to look smart, and the new, revived Batman series is pure smoke and mirrors trash. I can't believe how dumb people are. The studios have definitely figured out how to fool the comic book dorks. Batman Begins was the most cliched piece of trash disguised as an original, unique movie. The casting was solely based on looks, the action scenes were quite ordinary and the storyline was...um...rehashed?

Now Heath Ledger is being heavily favored for the part of the Joker, and the fanboys think it's genius...because Nolan picked him. These people think they're smarter than the people who watch teen movies? They don't have the self-esteem to make individual judgements for themselves!

i once saw a movie, a very very long time ago. the only thing i can remember was that it had an 18th-century France setting.

and in one scene, there is a young girl lying on her bed, maybe reading or writing, and an older man sitting at the end, and he raises her skirt and kisses her bare behind, and she looks a little shocked.
