There is a green and orange striped house in the first few scenes of this movie. It moves around and is not there through out the entire movie. Does anyone know what Tim Burton was saying with this house, or is it just one of his additions to the movie to make it unique?

I think it may have something to do with Freddy Kreuger(Nightmare on Elm Street), it is the colors of his sweater. This is totally possible because Johnny Depp's first movie was the first Nightmare on Elm Street movie. I'm not totally sure, though, becuase Tim Burton had nothing to do with the movie.
