My top 5:

1. Minority Report
- most well-done sci-fi flick ever made. incredible script, performances and special effects
2. E.T.
- one of the greatest sci-fi adventure movies ever. Filled with humor and imagination and great music.
3. Schindler's List
- amazing story of a hero. Ralph Fiennes was amazing.
4. Saving Private Ryan
- realistic look at the terrifying reality of war. My favorite Tom Hanks role.
5. Munich
- amazing how Spielberg can take on any style. reminds me of a DePalma film. Great movie.

I always thought that the aim of special effects in movies should be to make the movie as realistic as possible. This seemed to be the case with some of the older movies (i.e. Terminator 2, Jurassic Park and some other 90's movies), but movies now just seem to want to make over the most over the top scenes and do not even attempt to make it look real. Personally, i want to see stuff that looks as real as possible, not something that looks like a video game. What do you think?

Played at drive-ins in the middle 80's. A little boy was a zombie and his mother was holding him in her arms and he bit off her boob. That's all I can remember. Sorry.

This is not my usual job but occasionally I am hired to design costumes for films.
They are remaking the film about the famous "Evangeline" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and sticking to the facts this time. The TRUE story. We start shooting in March in Nova Scotia.

It is starring Robert Duvall.
I have had no problems whatsoever, researching the period for the clothing and fabrics(textiles) of circa 1750-1760.

I'm still on my computer struggling with the under garments a little but THAT is not what has stumped me.

ANYONE, out there have a clue as to where I can find artwork or portraits of noblmen in Nova Scotia in the 18th century?

I need to know what they wore. How did they look?
I thought THAT would be the easiest. HAH!

I swear, I can't locate ONE depiction of what Gabriel Lajeunesse would have been wearing.

He was the best dressed young man around. He didn't dress like the farmers in the village where Evangeline and he lived.

Help? Please?

yeah its coming out next year. And the show is on its last season and might move to network tv (that means you wont have to have cable to see new episodes!!)

In Bridget Jones's Diary, Who does she end up with in the end? Daniel or Mark? Oh, and was Daniel lying about Mark sleeping with his Fiance?
And what did Bridget say to Daniel after Mark hit him and made him be knocked out for a bit? Like, how did she break up with him? (i'm guessing she broke up with Daniel)
I kinda missed the end. I saw up to the part when Mark and Daniel were fighting, and then saw bits and peices of the rest. If you all can fill me in, I would be very happy!!

Jawas Or Wookies?

Jawas are small, Wookies arent. Jawas have glowing eyes, Wookies dont. Jawas are cute, Wookies arent. Wookies can kick @$$, Jawas Cant. Wookies sound like my bathroom drain, Jawas sound like a baby. What are your thoughts?
