I am writing a white paper on the consumer magazine publishing industry (Time, Economist, People etc.), and need some statistics.

QUESTIONS:
1) How many magazines does an average reader subscribe to?

2) For readers who subscribe to more than one magazine, what is the genre mix. E.g. do people subscribe to magazines focusing on the same topics e.g sports, or are topics completely different without any overlap?

3) What is the typical readership time spent by a reader on a magazine article (print and online) and a blog - for "similar" content of course?

4) What are the typical page views or lifetime of a blog and magazine article before it dies down?

5) What is the typical conversion rate for ads in a magazine (print
and online articles) and a blog?

If you have any questions or need further clarification, just let me know.

Happy hunting!

What magazine articles would u be interested in reading about? I am writting for a magazine and am 18yrs old myself and was wondering what sort of articles people would be interested in. I am planning on writing about everyday experiences that many of us face, but are there any particular topics you know you'd enjoy reading if you could?
thanks for your input

In 1993, after a nuclear explosion, Mad Magazine replaced the tagline of its coverboy, Alfred E. Neuman. For that issue only, it was changed from "What, me worry?" to something else. Anyone remember what it was?

I am looking for a magazine titled Grow. All I can find is a religious magazine. This is a very different type of magazine I think it is similar to High Times. I'm really wanting to get it online. It is for a gift, I'm not really into that kind of stuff so I'm clueless as to where I can find this. Any information on where I could find one would be great. Thanks!!

Like for example the tabloid mags,I never see anyone buy them.
Most people stand there and read them in the store
but never really buy them.
