If you really think you have a chance, then the only way you can raise that kind of money is to apply for a credit card. But if you do that, you'll have to commit because $1200 is a lot of credit to pay off. If you're successful, though, it will only be chump change.
Hope it works out for you!!

DO NOT PAY A MODELING AGENCY
They will take anyone just to make money on the fees. If you are model material, look for a legitimate agency who will take a look at you for free. Do not spend any money on photos. Have someone take a close up of your face with no makeup and a full body shot. This is all you need.
If you do not live in Miami, New York or LA, the "agencies" are not legit - especially if they charge. There are a LOT of books written on modeling. Take a look at them to learn more.
It is many girls' dreams to be a model, but very few are cut out for it. If you really want to do this and be evaluated fairly, try out for America's Next Top Model. Study the show - know what they are looking for. There are a lot of reruns on tv these days.
Ask yourself these questions - are you 5'8" or more? Do you wear a size 6 or smaller (sometime an 8 is okay). Do you have a pretty face - symmetrical? Or extremely unique? So few people have what it takes.
Do yourself a favor and keep up with school - spelling and grammar are important as are pronouncing things correctly. Learn as much as you can about other things than modeling. Become a well rounded person. Be more than a model.
There are so many things that are more important than if you look like a model or not....and remember - you can have many dreams in your life - not just one....

any company that contacts you requesting money is a scam. If a real company wants you, they have reputable store or location that has been around and lets you come in and talk to them before agreeing to even make an appointment for you. Most of the time you need to bring in a portfiolo (which serious models have) for them to look at and they decide if they can use you. most of the time you can schedule an appointment and talk before they even want money from you. they are your agency, they schedule shoots for you, they don't bs you and make you give them money before anything.

If it's for real, the agency will not ask you for money. Lots of these agencies take you money, do a few photo shoots, put together a small portfolio and some cards that don't help you. Go find a real agency!

wel first of all, if they ask for money up front, it isnt a real modeling agency, so if i were you, i would look around for one that has an actual address, not just a phone number, where you can contact them. or go see the building.

Legitimate agencies do not charge you money. They pay you to model. Please check them out with the Better Business Bureau before you give them any money. This sounds like a scam.
