I just found out Pavarotti lost his battle with cancer.
They were saying on the news that many thought he had lost his voice in recent years.
Do you agree?.
I loved him,and sometimes i didnt, but it in my mind cannot be taken away from him, that he had a wonderful voice.
I think,he was a generations introduction to opera,as he was famous for singing at football matches.Well, im not a football fan, but,if thats how to get great music across to the masses then, its a good thing.
I copied a bit of a news report of his passing below.
MODENA, Italy (Reuters) - Italian opera star Luciano Pavarotti, hailed by many as the greatest tenor of his generation, died early on Thursday after a long battle with cancer, his manager Terri Robson said.
