As you all must know almost 5 years ago the princess of hip-hop & R&B passed away sadly with 8 others. I really love Aaliyah so much and I would really like to talk to her family, and hopely get to know them. Just recently watched the movie Poolhall Junkies, which Mars wrote, directed, and starred in and also starred Christopher Walken. A comment that Walken made in the movie about them being related stuck with me. Just their stride, the way they both speak, and their looks got me wondering. Can't find any info on the net.

myself, personally i hated it.. it was bland and lacked real amusement.. well for a romcom anyways... i have seen jen in better roles.. and what really killed it for me was vince vaughn kept taking his shirt off... uuuggghhh yuck!!!!!

Does anyone here think Chris Brown is simply over-rated?
Simply using the fact that you are 16 (Now 17) years old does not compensate for a lot of artistic weaknesses which should not be overshadowed by youth.

As an artist, he is not that impressive and seems like more of a "wannabe" if you look from a distance.
For instance:
-Of the 17 songs on his debut, he only CO-wrote 6 songs (none of which were singles) and didn't write ANY song on his own. I would not be surprised if this "co-writing" resulted in him only contributing a line, or single verse.

-He doesnt play any instruments, and has not receieved any vocal training.He has only been singing for about 5 years now which is not much experience at all in contrast with other artists (Yes, including other young ones).

-The hype surrounding him seems quite hollow and i'm surprised that so many people are falling for it

-Honestly, his singing voice is annoying and sounds like an adolescent who hasn't hit puberty yet

bono and the gates were on the cover? i find it so funny.take that angelina fans, i 'm sure it bruise ms. jolie's ego, knowing that she wants to be everywhere , i know bono and the gates have no reason for publicity than have more money than they can do with, and they dont haev to keep working tom save the poor:)
