The movie was sort of a coming-to-life romance (not comedy) about an early teen (or younger?) boy and girl who fall for each other and slowly work up to that first kiss. I remember a couple climactic scenes with it raining on the windows. I saw this movie on either HBO or PBS in the early 80's. I believe it is British? I don't think it was "Gregory's Girl". Could have been a made-for-TV movie. ID'ing this one is a long shot...thanks. I was 12'ish when I saw it, and remember that this simple young romance led me to the epiphany that chics *are* cool (I'm a guy by the way). ; )

An attractive young Cork lady was sitting in a fine restaurant one night. Waiting for her Dublin date as she was, she wanted to make sure everything was perfect. So, as she bends down in her chair to get the mirror from her purse, she accidentally farts quite loudly just as the waiter walks up. Sitting up straight now, embarrassed and red faced, knowing everyone in the place heard her, turns to the waiter and demands "Will ye Stop That, Boy!". The waiter looks at her dryly and says "Sure lady, which way is it headed?"

OK I have seen several people saying that my house is haunted

Signs:
1. Things I have been looking for forever appear at my bed the next day.
2. TV turns on and off in the middle of the night
3. Curtains just fall without anyone being there
4. My sister (when she was a baby) was looking and smiling and talking to something that just wasnt there.

Stuff like this has been happining. We have lived in this house for 11 years. If you answered part one or two then thankyou so much!!!! That is really helpful. I am just searching for anymore answers. I need all the answers I can get.
