Her main fan base was 11-17 year olds and now with her image being like it is, I bet she will lose the basis of her consistent young fans, that song Gimme More, should have been called Gimme Whore...I feel bad for the young woman, but I wonder how much of this did she do to herself? My friend and I were asked to sing at a showcase. We were hoping to sing a duet from an opera. We are fans of Mozart especially, but we would really like something comedic and light, that still shows off our voices, which are very operatic.
He is a lyric tenor, I believe he is most comfortable below and A or so. I am a light lyric coloratura, and I feel most comfortable above an A. (haha, a bit of fach humor there.)

Any suggestions would be appreciated. We're really open to anything and we're hoping to have a great time singing together to find something.

we are our own worst enemies or our bestest (lol) friends?

I think it's true, 'cause we can feel bad about ourselves and have no confidence...and other people could just wanna talk or whatever...but then the low self-esteem could get in the way of that. Or...we could love ourselves and say good things and then we are so happy.
