i think daytime ads are by far the worse - but then, look at the "personal" ads - ointment for piles, tenna lady, constipation etc etc they always seem to be on when we're eating - do they did this on purpose - any thoughts ? comment? whats your pet hate in ads?

Mine was The Northern Lights, but i can't remember who sang it. I just loved it and i was only about 4 but I used to sing along to the radio, remember as clear as a bell.

I do this alot and was quite amazed recently at how many good friends have resulted from this habit than from the ones I meet in college or on an everyday basis.I also had some very unexpected experiences with them.Like once I started speaking with a homeless guy and he spoke to me in the best of English and told me that he CHOSE his life style after examining the world and seeing nothing good with materialistic stuff.I was amazed by his comment.

So what about you?Any such experiences?

I certainly don't go out of my way to see this harpy, but when I do, she is ALWAYS in the same short, black, dress. (note: A search reveals she DOES have other clothes, but this dress is dominant by far)

Why does she insist on wearing the same dress, whether for a morning talk show or an evening talk show?
