Why is my religion which was once followed by nomadic tribes and heavily based on agricultural seasons, sheep herding, and Temple sacrifices so rejected in modern America when so much of it is written down in the Bible (a well respected book by many) as being the right way to live?

Had a weird memory thing tonight.
#! 1st band I saw in concert.
#2 1 yr later was in another state ain a tiny town and saw them in a convienence store,(thinking they were locals)
#3 20 yrs later,married a guy whose only redeaming quality was that his close relative was the lead gutarist in the band.
#4 Now,maybe 35...40..yrs later my daughter remembers meeting him and only remembered that he was really nice and cute(which she really rememberted cause she is gay...and it was weird to her that she found a guy cute when she was 13). lol
