Is anyone else starting to think that the people of "Lost" are really not on that island, but are really trapped somewhere and jacked into some Matrix-style virtual reality? Maybe as part of some psychological experiment?

Maybe after they crashed, they were been put into it? Or maybe they really never got on a plane or crashed at all?

Any thoughts?

I have a theory that over the next year, everyone will get off of the island and the show will follow their lives back in the real world. Then for whatever reasons, their lives will be totally miserable. Then maybe the next year it will be about their quest to get back to the island because they realize that they were never supposed to leave.

Then in the very end, Jack and Ben will team up to lead their community of people because Jack will realize that Ben was right all along...

Any thoughts on this rough idea?

Someone told me this one last night, and I tried to remember exactly how it went. I think I'm pretty close.


A young man in his late 20's goes into a bar, sits down and starts to have a beer. An attractive woman sits down beside him and starts flirting with him. After a few more beers, she asks him to come home with her. He notices that she is quite a bit older than him, so he comes out and asks her age. She replies, "I'm 54."
He thinks to himself, Wow 54, that's kind of old, but oh well, there's not many other woman in here tonight and she is attractive. So he goes home with her.
As they walk in the door, she says, "How do you feel about team sex?"
The young man said, "What do you mean?"
"You know, like mother daughter"she replied.
At this point, the man is thinking he's hit the jackpot. This woman has a lovely young daughter that he's about to get lucky with.
He wholeheartedly agrees.
The woman yells up the stairs.......
"Mom, you still awake???"

it's not that cook to be on tv....i wouldn't go and stand in that background if they paid me....those ppl look like morons climbing over each other trying to get on the tv....stupid

The character Andy, who was trapped on top of the gun store, would always write messages on a large board to the survivors on top of the shopping mall. At the end of the movie, Andy is turning into a zombie. When the people on top of the shopping mall roof last see him, he writes one final message, which is just smeared lines.

This scene was absolutely chilling. I thought Andy was trying to lure them to the gun store. I thought it was a sign that the zombies had some remnant of human intellect left. He was trying to trick them into making a rescue attempt. He had some memory that writing on the board would make the people come, so he was trying it.

However, other people didn't agree that his last attempt at a message meant what I thought. They said he just turned into a zombie while writing the message. However, didn't it always take a few minutes after the person died for that to happen?

Seriousley though awesome show can't get enough. I wonder if everyone came back from the island or some stayed, I can't see Locke going back and Jack definitly didn't want to either or Ben for that matter. What witht he one eyed guy who won't die? . If you have an interesting theory i'd love to read it. R.I.P Charlie - quality role there.
