All right all of you out there that know absolutely everything there is to know about musc, singers, and the like...Here is the question of the day:

Does ANYONE know the name of the woman who sings the song "Downown" on the current VISA commercial? I know that the woman who originally did the song is named Petula Clark, but I am not looking for her. I just LOVE the voice of the singer in the commercial, and would really enjoy hearing more from her, if possible!

Any help that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated!

I'd rather keep my older sister. Although it'd be nice to be an only child, life is better knowing I have a sibling to depend on.

I'm in a Marketing research class and need people to fill out a survey. It's only 10 questions. For the question "Do you read the school newspaper?" just take that as any regular newspaper. It's supposed to be just for the area i live in, but I really just need some data to analyze and would appreciate any help I can get. Just post if you can and will fill it out.

I've heard her songs on the radio for all these years but never actually thought she was pretty until I saw her on American Idol. She also seems pretty smart as well. I was very pleasantly surprised how pretty her face was! She had nice eye and her face structure was not what I thought it was due to all her make up and gimmicks in her music videos. Did anyone notice that for the first time as well?

Example... my grandmother (who has since passed on) was always listing to our (the grandkids music)... and she liked it. One day we were listening to the radio when AC/DC "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" comes on... and my Granny is singing "dirty girl go drive that jeep"..... it was only later when she got her hearing aids... did she say "jen, turn that crap off!".... I said granny you like AC/DC... remember the "dirty girl" song.... she said "well, that was before... now it sounds like crap!" I totally disagree with her, but often wonder... how many songs did she actually hear correctly? how about you do you confuse the words to your favorite songs?

I saw the first three volumes of Night Shift Nurses (interesting stuff, i must say) and in the third, the police were interrogating Ren (and the other nurses) on why Ren killed the Doctor. She stated that she didnt like what he was doing at first but then grew to love him.

The police did not get an answer as to why she did it by the end of the third volume. There is a fourth and final volume titled Night Shift Nurses: Carnal Corruption.

I was hoping that there is someone who can tell me the explination as to why Ren killed the Doctor if she indeed truly loved him?

...if the fourth is as hard to digest as the first three (or even worse) i didnt want to rent/buy it just to find out.
