Hello, I'm a bit frustrated, because I should be seeing The Who right now, but Roger Daltrey got sick, and no concerts for him on doctors orders.

How quickly do bands usually reschedule? Is there any chance that they (gasp) won't play at all?!?

Really all they are is a bunch of losers (who can't get real jobs) who copy other peoples songs (hoping to get on tv) & the rest of america falls right into their lap.Even worse is the people who watch it giving american tv stations millions of dollars. Come on people are we really that uneducated! Think about it!

I love manga, and have been a manga fan for about 13 yearrs now, though I'm not quite as fanatical about it as I used to be. (I still have dozens of volumes of Ranma 1/2 and Dragon Ball on my shelf) However, I'm also a big American comic book fan, and while I'm happy for the greater availability of manga, I feel a little bit sad that we may be witnessing the decline of a 20th century American institution and form of modern mythology. I don't think it's guaranteed anymore that Superman and Batman are going to be around in 100 years.

(Yeah, Civil War and the death of Captain America spiked interest a little bit, but how long will that last?)

So what are manga publishers doing that American publishers aren't? For those who only read manga, what turns you off about American comics?

So I am not brilliant at math, although I am not mathematically challenged either. I want to go pre-med or pre-pharmacy. I could get a B in precalculus and probably caculus with some effort. But I want A's. So now I am studying precalculus, not enrolled in the class, and then in the summer I will sit in a calculus class (not enrolled) and then when I transfer to UCLA (my hope) I will get two easy A's. The next summer I would sit and not enroll in another hard class....It is not cheating, and a good way to succeed. You thoughts?
