Uh, in a way, it sounds like a jealous woman who is explaining to her man that she wants to be with him, but he wants Jane.
She read Jane's diary and can't find herself in there anywhere.
She's so pissed that she tears thru the book and starts a fire with the pages.
One way or another she'll find a way into that diary.
However, the name of the artist is: Breakin' Benjamin so I would have to say that it's a man's point of view of how much he likes this girl, Jane.
He's been trying to tell her, but she's not getting it. He keeps saying that there's something getting in the way, he's so desperate to wriggle his way into her life that he'll do anything just to get her to write something about him in her diary.
Day in and day out, he tries to burn his image into her life.
He settles for what he can find, which is clear in the line: "Desperate I will crawl, waiting for so long. No love, there is no love. Die for anyone, what have I become?" It implies that he has already committed, or has contemplated, suicide and has nothing left to live for.
It's full of feelings and pain that a young man goes thru when he meets the first girl he falls for. Very powerful!! I'm amazed how well written it is for a guy. Most men are not able to describe their feelings so well.

i heard it's about a girl (jane) who is dead and her boyfriend/husband/friend. when he says "if i had to i would put myself right beside you" meaning she's dead and if she wanted he would die, so he could be with her. then when he says "i will try to find my place in the diary of jane" he's going through her diary after she died and not finding his name in it at all. "as i burn another page as i look the other way."
otherwise my other idea is that the guy has feelings for jane, and is finding (by looking in the diary) that she has none in return. hope that helps!

I think it's a guy having probs w/ his girlfriend and he's talking about how he feels like it's almost over but he doesn't want it to be so he does things to please her and asks her do u like that? and I think he hopes he will stay in his girlfriend Jane's diary, that she will keep writing about him and not some other guy
