when burt and heather are in the basement just before they are attacked heather puts bullets in a machine. what is the machine?

Sounds like a Gatling gun (from the Civil War). I don't remember it, but if I was a survivalist like those guys, I'd love to have one, too. (Though a G.E. Minigun - like from Predator- would be a real "blast".)
I think they would have had a "street-sweeper" (I think that's what you call it) that has a rotating cylinder full of shot-shells and/or gas bombs, grenades, etc., but I'll have to watch it. (I have Tremors 1 through 3, looking for 4)
Oh, she might have been putting rounds into a loader that puts rounds either in magazines or belts. It becomes clearer now.

It cleans the used brass before reloading it. Called a vibratory cleaner(tumbler).

I think it was a bullet cleaner... They packed thier own bullets for a certain gun if I remember right

Yeah, I thought they had a Gatlin gun in that movie. It's been awhile since I've seen it. It was like a primitive machine gun.
