I have recently begun to take up singing so that i can be the singer for my band, but i have a problem. When i sing i can sound very monotone and almost like im talking. Is there a reason why im doing this, and if there is what exercises can i do to help it? Thanks a lot

ok. i played minuet and i got a perfect score yay me. the lady was like "bach would be proud" lol. ok but um state is may 19th, and the competition was today! its in OKC but um do i learn a new piece for state or am i playing a new one. i think it is stupid if i have to play the same one again!
