and will take them 10 days to get there. so they pack up their picnic and set off. when they finally arrive they start to unpack the food but, to their suprise, they did not pack the drinks. barry & harry both turn to larry and say "will you go back and get the drinks while we wait here?" larry refuses because he thinks they will eat all the food while he is gone, but after lots of promises from barry & harry that they will not eat anything untill he gets back, larry agrees. so he sets off on the long 20 day walk home, and back to the picnic spot. only, 10 days pass, then 20, then 30 and still no sign of larry returning. by this time barry & harry were starving and cannot resist the food any longer and decide to eat just one sandwich each, but, just as the food touches their lips, larry jumps out from behind a nearby bush and shouts "I KNEW IT....I'M NOT GOING!!!"

Do you know how long it has been since I've turned on a tv news program? And how about yourselves?

Haven't turned on the tv in nearly a week. Mainly because most news programs were saturated with coverage of Anna Nicole Smith and Britney Spears. Now there are all sorts of documentaries regarding the life of Anna Nicole. She wasn't my favorite person but I respect her because, despite marrying money and her rather shall we say, unorthodox way of life, she seemed to be a good person. But soon(I heard) something is coming out about her having performed in a few porn movies which I think it sick (it is claimed that they have her on video with someone). So, it's gone too far I believe. I am at least glad to learn that she is buried.
In the interim, it's really quiet without the tv's on. I think I will come on line for a week or so more to catch important news. At least here, you can take your pick of whatever news you want to read, and no one is talking to you as though they were actually sitting in your living room or den.
