Why are men so controlling, jealous, and paranoid?

Those traits can easily be applied to both sexes.

First, It is because we are imperfect humans.

Second, it takes a life long effort to develop the ability to have self control over our emotions. It also take s a life long effort to realize that our actions toward another person, whether good or bad, WILL have an effect on that person either positive or negative. It is a sign of short sightedness and immaturity to NOT take another person's feelings into consideration.

We are all a work in progress, and hopefully will learn from our mistakes so as to treat those around us with more compassion.

I would say that many women are controlling, jealous and paranoid... VERY needy and stupid. I'm not so sure about domineering or tyrannical, though.

When you make sweeping generalizations about half the people on the planet, you only make yourself look stupid. Maybe you need to find a new group of people to be with, if all the men you are exposed to fit that description. I know very few men like that.

They arent all like that. You know thats not true on the inside. Youre probably just pissed right now.

The ones that are however usually have low self esteem. They feel that if they dont control you and dominate, you might leave them. Men are jealous because they figure if THEY want you, OTHER men are going to want you too, and you might end up liking one of these other men better than him.

If youre using these words to discribe your boyfriend, which im assuming you are, you can try to change this behavior by letting them know that you arent looking for anyone else. Try to make him feel comfortable with the relationship. He probably either doesnt trust you, or he just doesnt trust other men around you. Its a pain in the ***, so its up to you whether hes worth it or not.

controlling... because thats what men r supposed to do... as annoying and unreasonable as it be

jealous... well, would u want ur man to be jealous, if some other guy was interested in u?

paranoid... well, cant help that... it gets competitive sometimes, in war and love

needy? well, if we werent, we wouldnt need women

domineering,tyrannical? same as controlling

stupid? that goes for both sexes... even rocket scientists are vulnerable to the basic problems of human love

Why bash Men?? Don't ALL people have issues of SOME sort??? What will you do when you turn into a carpet muncher and find that even your woman freind has issues?? Sounds to me as if you are just angry at how you have been done, NOT at all us men as a whole!! All men are not all of those things. Women can be those things too. Insecure, mean people tend to have those characteristics.
