Whenever I watch shows featuring hosts like Larry King, David Letterman, Jay Leno, etc., they ALWAYS have a coffee mug on their desk. You never see them take a sip of coffee during the actual show. (Maybe they sip during commercial breaks.)

It's almost as if they put special EMPHASIS on the fact that there's a coffee mug on the desk. Why is that? Why would the TV viewer care whether or not the person is drinking coffee?

i could never live without my family (including the friends that are considered family). they are my everything, my motivation and inspiration and the reason that i get up every morning when everything in my mind is telling me to stay in bed. i pray to god that i am never without any of them.
