I get a little tired of listening to all the plastic, media contrived, talentless pop groups; the insipid dance music, and please don't even mention rap and hip-hop. Hey look man, I want my rock-n-roll! Good old fashioned guitar driven rock and roll, complete with a thumping bass and pounding drums, and not much of anything else. Basic, pure, straight from the balls rock-and-roll. Are there any radio stations in Britain that play rock music anymore? Anything from Chuck Berry to the Sex Pistols, man. Please! Just somebody turn off the drum machine and the synthesizers! Give me the Stones, the Beatles, the Kinks, the Who, Steve Miller, Grand Funk, Bob Seger, the Faces, the Clash, the Jam, Chuck Berry, REM, Bruce Springsteen, Lynard Synrd, Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Little Richard, Cream, MC5, WHATEVER!!!!!

Just let me hear some good old rock-n-roll, man!

Me and my friend was chilling watching tv the other evening and an advert for a cd came on.. Was 1 of those hardcore rave type ones. Then it hit me iv never actually been to a proper rave..
I love my dance music and iv been to top clubs before but never a proper full on rave like you see on the tv..
I live near Sheffield and apparatly my friend says there a club there that apparntly does them but we aint gotta clue were..
Any ideas or information were i could find out more????
