I mean when you really sit down and think about it. Life is, in 100 or 200 years, no one is going to remember you. The things you did or didn't do. Even if you happen to write a book, that will eventually become meaningless, because one day, the sun is going to die out, and life on the planet will ceast. And when you think about it we haven't been on the planet that long, anyway.

So all in all, is life meaningless, are we just in a rat race of worthlessness?
Things people do now, might have some effect for sometime, but for how long.?

I finished eating my lunch just as a client walked in. I told him to sit down, that I'd be right with him. I rummaged in purse for my lip balm, not paying much attention to what I was doing. I opened the tube of what I THOUGHT was lip balm and begain smearing it all over my lips. It felt kind of funny, didn't apply as smooth as usual....and I looked down and saw that I was applying CONCEALER to my mouth!

You can imagine the look I got from the client........and what else could I do but burst into laughter with him? : P

In Australia at present, former English people (well a few) want the term Poms banned. Aussies are a great nation of people with a sense of humour and the term "Pom" or "Pommie" has been affectionately used for former English people. Most "Poms" accept it for what it is, just a bit of fun and take no offence whatsoever. The origin of Pom is actually POME pronounced pommy, it is an acronym of Prisoner Of Mother England and as we know, the first whites in Australia were actually that. Anyhow, a few wowsers with absolutely no sense of humour at all want the word banned. What do you think?
