I finished eating my lunch just as a client walked in. I told him to sit down, that I'd be right with him. I rummaged in purse for my lip balm, not paying much attention to what I was doing. I opened the tube of what I THOUGHT was lip balm and begain smearing it all over my lips. It felt kind of funny, didn't apply as smooth as usual....and I looked down and saw that I was applying CONCEALER to my mouth!
You can imagine the look I got from the client........and what else could I do but burst into laughter with him? : P

Yep, I put concealer on my lips as I was walking into WalMart, did my shopping, and left without anyone saying anything to me. Not until I got into my car and looked in the rearview mirror did I notice my mistake. The shade did nothing for me and I don't think I will do it again.

That is funny! How could the concealer look and be in a container that looked like a lip balm? Even if I was in a rush I would think I could tell the difference lol.

LOL!!! I had a coworker who had been appying glue on his lips thinking it was lip balm. He did it for almost a week, until someone felt sorry for him and asked him why was he doing that. He had purchased a small glue stick, which looks almost like a tube of lip balm, without realizing it!! To this day, I still wonder why did that not feel weird to him and he kept applying it day after day!! It was hilarious.

Well that's good that you can find reasons to laugh at yourself, I do it too. makes it hareder for people to make fun of you.
I admit, I've done some things like that.
But concealor on your lips actually is a makeup seceret. It gives the allusion of fuller lips.
An excuse for next time, hehe

WOW! This must be a fairly common thing because a few years ago, I did the EXACT same thing.
I accidently applied concealer to my lips. You are not alone.
The only difference is, no one saw me do it.
That must have been hilarious.

Dang that sounds worse than the time I mistaked Prepation H for toothpaste and found out after I brushed my teeth. My gums tighten so tight that I couldn't help to smile.

Hey, they do say that applying a bit of face makeup on before helps your lipstick stay on longer. You're ok! :)

haha, sorry to say but ive been pretty close.. i bought concealer thinking it was lipstick and wore it for a couple of weeks before i actually found out what it was.. i thought the color was a little odd ;)
