need some help with this one rock band???

ok, well i was at practice and this one kid was playin some songs off of his ipod
he played this one rock band i really liked, but i cant remember the name of the band
all i remember was that it was four letters, and wasnt an acronym, like INXS
oh well, hope someone knows it
