Okay, so my bf and I were totally in love for a long time. Then a bunch of crazy crap and a couple of girlfriends/boyfriends pulled us apart. Now we're getting back together...I'm a huge song/life person, but I've never had this situation before. Any ideas for songs to play to this situation? Just breaking up and getting back together.

I'm looking for the name of an indie band (maybe it was even a solo artist) from the Seattle area (I think). I stumbled upon their work in late '02 - early '03. At the time they didn't play outside of the Portland-Seattle coffeehouse scene. I enjoyed their songs, so I purchased a CD through their website. I've since lost the CD, and the MP3s I burned from it.

***** I distinctly remember the CD cover featuring a watercolor (or drawing) of an umbrella in the rain. *****

The music was quiet, simple, and beautiful. I just recently remembered it when I came across the song "Desert Sunrise" by Seattle based artist Brett Dennen. I suspect he might have been involved with this unnamed mystery umbrella band. His most recent album cover even resembles the cover of the album to which I'm refering.

I am watching my dog try to get a ball from under the computer desk (very enjoyable) and going over today's fun. Here's what happened: I drove to Lowe's with my brother and he put a Burger King bag on the roof of my car and we drove really slow so it wouldn't fall off. People gathered around and stared. I was dying laughing. It was so fun. Then it fell off and people rushed to see what was in it while we drove away! FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!! Wish I could have this much fun every day!
