Does anyone know when the 5th season of The Wire will start to show on HBO?

I've heard that the 5th and possibly final season is scheduled to air sometime in the Fall of 2008. He wants to give the four young boys some time to age and really get creative with the plot.

usually i might say great shows like Dexter or lost, or maybe twin Peaks to be slightly retro. yet once you're a great fan of the OC and One Tree Hill, i might propose Smallville or seventh Heaven or Gilmore women or gray's Anatomy or desperate Housewives...
