It is getting to be very annoying when you are waching dvd's , tv films and new dramas etc, that the background music is louder than the dialogue, especially at a very important part of the show.

Would the reason be that everyone needs to fit a surround sound system that plays music and dialogue through separate speakers.
At first i thought it was my hearing, but many people i speak to have the same problems.
