Can you name that tune?

I have been trying to find a song I heard played on the radio a few times back in May and June 2006. I remember this musical phrase from the song (the phrase is in the middle of the song). Do you recognize the song and the band?

history........and hollywood?

why do they feel the need to show history or historical figures in a different light than they actually happened or existed.

like for instance, braveheart.

they show william wallace as this great warrior, and like as if he was all good. fair enough, he did do alot of good. but he was a brutal and, practically a vicious psychopath, he was also a cannibal. again, i'm not putting the guy down, he did what he felt he had to do.

but why do hollywood miss out points like that, surely these points would of made the character more true to life, and believable.

mel gibson says in an interview on the 2 disc dvd of braveheart that wallace had a rep for skinning some of the people he faught.

yet they don't even hint at any of this in the movie?

even if that had of shown gibson with some blood around his mouth, you'd realise what he had been doing.
