It's funny, but I've really noticed this depends on where I am. If I'm in the local health food grocery store, there are a lot of good looking, slim people with healthy, glowing skin. If I'm in K-Mart, there are lots of fat pastey people with bad skin. If I'm here in my little beach town on the mall, there seem to be a relatively high number of good looking people. If I go to a mall in the nearest big city, I notice there seem to be a lot less good looking people.
Overall in general I'd say I consider maybe 5-10% of the population is good looking, 50-70% within the range of average and the rest would be unfortunate. Just my opinion.

What is good looking for some isn't necessarily good looking to others. A honest answer is I don't judge people by their looks. A person can be attractive on the outside but have an ugly attitude. Someone who people consider ugly may have a beautiful attitude. It's what's on the inside that counts. It's pretty sad that a lot of people judge others on their looks.

In my age group, I'd say maybe 25%. Total population, would be considerably lower. Not to discriminate against the elderly, but I don't see too many 80 year old incontinent women who I am attracted to. That doesn't mean they are bad people or weren't attractive at one time, but rather are just showing the bad signs of aging that we all can only hope to live long enough to experience

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. What one person considers attractive another person may not. True beauty is in the personality of each person.
