A Texan oil man is fishing in the gulf off his yatch. He pulls out an old oil lamp and wipes off the dirt.
A genie pops up and says "Master, you have one wish, anything you want."
The oil man says "One wish? Usually genies give you 3 wishes."
The genie says " The earlier Texans threw me back in after one wish. Said they had everything the ever wanted and if they ever wanted anything else they'd buy it. But just to humor me asked for one thing."
"Well" said the man, "I guess I'll do the same. Just make me a martini, not too dry."
Boom and the oilman was a martini, not too dry.

I am teaching myself non-classical piano. I know what 'tremolo' means but not how to play them.

My dad listened to this song and said they were talkin about drug rehab and the girl cant quit drugs. whenever i heard this song i thought the girl was sick of life and just wanted to get away ( wether that be dying or just moving away changing her life.) who willl do ANYTHING toJust Feel Better.

While i listen to this song i imagin (also) about the girl trying to get away from her abusive boyfriend ,

for many (many) years written to film stars for their autographs and have had some lovely letters and signed photographs sent back (which I would never dream of parting with)But it has all changed most of these stars now seem to have large management companys dealing with fan mail. I blame a lot on people selling signed photos as a business. If these stars signed the requested photos to the person who requested it this would stop this. As for more un-aproachable than royalty-I have stood for many hours at a film premier in hopes of meeting a star,and being very dissapointed - yet at HM the Queens 50th anniversary met and spoke with the Royal Family when they did a walk about in the Mall.

Just watched the first star trek movie, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, at the end a new life form was created between human and machine. Sounds much like the Borg, but if the Borg were created by Q (you may correct me) , what is the new life form? Do we ever see it again? And who created the Q?
