Mad World ~ Tears for Fears
Funky Town ~ Psuedo Echo
It's My Life ~ Talk Talk

Of course there are a ton more, but what do you think?
Should old songs be left alone, or do you like remakes?

I'll always preffer the originals (though I admit I love the new ones too)

I just want to keep answers limited to who is better, I don't really want to have to read any lengthy explanations of why one is better than the other. I already have my own opinions, and long-winded explanations probably won't change my mind. Just tell me who you like more.

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them. After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. i was reading about the last days of John Lennon and John Ritter among others in a book called The Last Days of Dead Celebrities. I started crying all over again because i remember John Lennon's death so clearly. But John Ritter's death had a surprising impact on me. The circumstances of the show 8 Simple Rules was eerily close to mine when my dad died. My mother found out the same way, ran off to the hospital and we were two girls and a boy--my brother was the youngest just like the show. Plus i adored John Ritter the actor. Who had the biggest impact on you?
