sometimes people like celebrity but hate the other celebrity. Why people can like and hate celebrity???

People like and dislike whether you are celebrity or civilian ! However so celebrities seem to exacerbate their roles !! Like Paris Hilton who is just famous for being well famous she hasnt worked for her fame in the early days , she grew up with everyting and she just doesnt seem genuine whereas if you compare her to Beyonce who started a band and tourning when she was 10 and didnt reach sucess until she was 19, Theres a difference !

perhaps some people are confident and comfortable in who they are, and don't need to look to so called celebrities to make their lives seem meaningful. plus there's the fact that very few modern celebrities deserve the title, as they don't really serve a useful function.. sports stars, movie stars and socialites are feted nowadays, whereas the people who are more deserving, be it by inventing new products, developing vaccines, etc, are happy to remain anonamous.
celebrity is a big thing in england, and the desire to be famous is strong... however, fame is the annoying byproduct of success, and to be perfectly frank anyone seeking fame for fame's sake needs their head examining.

people are mindless and do dumb things like that. why are they even worried about a celebrity that doesn't even know they exist and couldn't care less if they hated them, loved them, or wanted to be their twin when they are famous and have money at the *** and could probally pay people to pretend they loved them and one of those people would be the same one who hated them not too long ago

We have been inundated with Reality TV, therefore we have had a surge of the 'D' List celebrity - I think these talentless nobody's are what people hate.......... there are many artists, actors & presenters that are talented & deserve media attention.

Jealousy, admiration and ownership.
Because we are jealous of some that don't indulge us or that snub the public.
We admire the one that do good with their status.
We hate them becaseu we feell we have a right to know and know what is right for them.
Celebrities are people... the only difference between us, they are recognized for their good and bad traits by the world... and we are not.

Look its very simple if u love someone or u like anyone.i can give u the example like if u have a bf and he is a football champ or champ in any field,but if a other guy make his heroism dumb so how do u feel ,u feel like i will kill him and obviously u hate him.in the same manner people hate other celebs.

Celebrity mostly are rich and can do whatever they want. So, make them feel like their are superior than others (in fact it's not!).

its personal choice really.. when a person makes it into the limelight theres one thing he/she has got to get is acceptance from the people... if theres no one to hate or like the celeb well theres no celebrity! the reason the celeb is in the limelight is cause people like her/him or hate him/her toooooooo much..
