A sky diver and his instructor peered down at the field 3,000 feet below. "There's nothing tow worry about." the instructor said. "You jump, count to three and pull your rip cord. If that doesn't work, pull your reserve cord. There'll be a truck down there to pick you up."
The sky diver took a deep breath and plunged into the open air. After free-falling, he counted to three, then pulled his rip cord. Nothing happened. So he pulled his reserve. A few cobwebs drifted out.
"Darn," he said. "I'll bet that truck's not down there either."

Any Star Trek Fans?

I saw two things the other nigth just on "Wrath of Khan" i want to see if anyone else noticed.

1. As Khagn is sneaking up on the enterprise the first time aboard his ship, you see the enterprise from the side. It either has battle damage or someone forgot to wash it. very dirty. Its just a 1-2 second shot but it really got my attention.

2. On the back of Khagn's ship are two engine intakes or something (their colored blue) However i noticed the numbers 1 and 2 on the back of them. Wonder if this was on purpose.

Theres this book that i read about 3 years and it was brilliant but i cant remember the title and id love to read it again only i dont no what to look for!
The main charachters name is poppy and shes taking in and reared by the rich family next door after her father abondons her.The family next door have a daughter the same as age as poppy called Angel.
The book is basically a story about Poppys life and all the struggles she faces, and eventually becomes a millionairess by opening a high class brothel!
The book switches back and forth in time, telling the story of poppys life in order to find out who inheritated her millions in the present. anybody got a clue? its drivin me mad!!!!!!
