Just curious on what the general public thinks about the use of several famous philosophers on LOST. John Locke was a famous philosopher and his beliefs deviated from the theory of natural law and the right to life, liberty, and property. Similarily, the writers of LOST used John Locke's name as a character on their show. Why? Jean-Jacques Rosseau was a philospher from the Elightenment period and his philosophy is summarized best with "Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains." Again, the writers named a character after this legend- Danielle Rosseau. David Hume is another famous philosopher, often associated with skepticism and questioning Free Will. The philosopher-naming trend amongst the writers continues with the character Desmond David Hume. What is the connection between these philosophers and the character? Why do the writers do this?

I know that when we were created that we had no clothes. But ,please a girl I work with asked me to drop some papers off @ her house(she answer the door nude) The thing is she just open the door I could have been any one. I think it's just me because only my MAN can see what others can't. I'm still fussen at her for coming to the door without any clothes. I mean i live in ny and i love most of the music that comes from new york. I can't stand southern rap anymore its just violent and retarded and lil children words are used in their raps i mean anybody can rap these days. My opinion is hip hop originated in new york and it dominated 2 times already between the west coast and south. When will it dominate again?
