This man was born August 13, 1930. He si of mixed Chinese,"state name", Pirtuguese, Dutch and German descent. He was born in the small neighborhood of Kaka'ako, but grew up in Kane'ohe. In 1954, he entered the US Air force and spent time flying fighter jets in both Texas and "state home". He left the Air Force in 1960 due to his mother's illness. In 1962, he mover form Lane'ohe to Wakiki and played at a night club called Duke's, where he caught the attention of a record company officials.

He released his debult album in 1965 and began to play high profile locations in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and New York City.
