If the US randomly decide to give alaska back to Russia, what do you think would happen?

okay i saw a teaser for cory in the house, however i honestly want to know people's opinion on the subject.

There'd be some pretty pissed off Alaskans to deal with
The USA would be giving up a lot of resources
You'd be setting a potentially dangerous precedent in that anybody and everybody who has bought or sold land would want to renege on their bad end of the deal
What say while the US is doing that, the US gives back the Louisiana Purchase lands, the lands gained from Mexico, etc.
And then other countries also could do the same to lands they have purchased or "treatied" for - yep, we should all live in a world of chaos and anarchy.
