I am a college student, who has future hopes of going to med. school. Currently I am in need of a car to drive from campus to my job and home on the weekends. Is it better for me to buy or lease a car, because in a few years I may be moving out of state. Also, what is a dependable and affordable car to consider?

I mean it's like 2 centimeters difference as far as diameter and the same width. Other than my speedo being off a bit, is there any harm?

Does anyone work with hybrids or read more than I do about them, which wouldnt be hard since I cant read.... Anyways, I have been paying a little attention to this new fuel being sold E85, which is made from Ethanol. Are hybrids able to run off of E85? I know that E85 currently gives less MPG then regular Gasoline, but with a vehicle that produces more than 50 MPG, I dont think it will make that big of a deal to loose 5 or so MPG, when It can save around $4 to $6 dollars on every fill up. Does anyone currently drive this combination or read more than I do........lol, sorry, I had to laugh at that........and know if E85 will work with any Hybrid on the market today, or in the near future?

A lorry decides to overtake another lorry on a dual carriageway/motorway. the maneuver can take 3 or 4 minutes because the overtaking lorry can only go about 1 mph faster with his pedal to the metal. all the other motorists behind get annoyed waiting behind 2 lorries jamming up the road doing 56mph. eventually the lorry driver gets far enough in front to pull in and manages to gain a few extra feet and seconds on his journey.

Now I realise that everything happens for a reason, so can anybody (especially truckers) tell me whether they think this sort of maneuver is a good idea and whether the annoyance caused to other mototrists is worth the tiny distance/time gained? Why does the lorry being overtaken not 'slow down a little bit' to let the other one pass? are you a motorist who gets annoyed by this too?

Is it that hard to get them to travel at the same speed so your hand doesn't have to be moved back down when holding on? (Of course if I wasn't lazy and walked up the escalator I wouldn't notice this happening lol).

GM and others used to make electric vehicles that charged overnight. They ran for about 120 mpg, were clean, no spark plugs, fast startup, etc., and charged overnight. The cost was equivalent to running 120mpg for 60cents. If produced today with a gas backup, one could take almost any trip they wanted. We would probably be no more dependent on foreign oil.

But since I don't believe these electric/gas hybrid types of vehicles are produced anywhere, I am interested in the original electric cars that allowed one to go 120miles without charging. This would probably serve 75% of all my driving needs.

Where can I get one? I've looked everywhere that I know to look.
