The spleen is an organ in the upper left side of the abdomen that filters the blood by removing old or damaged blood cells and platelets and helps the immune system by destroying bacteria and other foreign substances. It also holds extra blood that can be released into the circulatory system, if needed.

The spleen is a useful but nonessential organ. It is sometimes removed (otherwise known as a splenectomy) in people who have blood disorders, such as thalassemia or hemolytic anemia. If the spleen is removed, a person must get certain immunizations to help prevent infections that the spleen normally fights.


[edit] Prognosis
Splenic rupture permits large amounts of blood to leak into the abdominal cavity which is severely painful and life-threatening. Shock and, ultimately, death can result. Patients typically require an urgent operation. Rupture of a normal spleen can be caused by trauma, for example, in an accident. If an individual's spleen is enlarged, as is frequent in mononucleosis, most physicians will not allow activities (such as major contact sports) where injury to the abdomen could be catastrophic

I do have cable so I could order it, but I want to actually take my son somewhere and watch it. We live in Arlington Tx, we used to go to the movie tavern but they are no longer showing it. Any suggestions.

Who else believes that this is insane? I don't mind the fact that Cena was out early, in fact I loved that. But Kane and Benoit are outlasting Andre??? C'mon, the only reasoning for this is high school and middle school kids are in their study halls.

I was just curious if anyone know how to properly the full nelson. I love the hold, and have been in it, but it doesn't seem to hurt. Is there a correct way to apply it? I think that Kurt Angle should quit TNA and return back to WWE. He is more fit in WWE than TNA. He is the most talented atheltic wrestler of them all and I positive that he would definetely improve the quality of WWE. Any thoughts about that? Who's with me?
