Our 2006 diva search winner Layla El is now on ECW,but I can't help but ask is this a good thing or a bad thing for Layla's career?

I would have to say that for anyone going to the ECW brand, would be considered a "step-down". ECW currently is the bottom ranked brand of all of the WWE programming.
WWE needs to do something, and to do it quick because ECW is not even making enough money from the crowds that it is drawing in order to make ends-meet.

Definitely a step down. If someone is looking to become a major star in the WWE, RAW is the place to be at first. Not ECW. Once you have a name for yourself, a move to ECW may be OK, but to someone just starting out, ECW can be a career graveyard.

It's a step down. When I found out Layla went to ECW, I wuz P.O! ECW is the bottom of WWE and every wrestler there has their career in danger. ECW isn't bringing in enough money!

Considering the fact that were it not for the Diva search she'd be working at Hooters or hawking cars on local television, I'd have to say that being on ECW is a step up in the right direction.

i'm afraid it's a step down. when i heard ecw was coming back i was so exited but now it's rubbish and every person there's careers are in jeporedy.

It is a step down, ECW is just not what they wanted it to be.
