I was just curious if anyone know how to properly the full nelson. I love the hold, and have been in it, but it doesn't seem to hurt. Is there a correct way to apply it? And what is it supposed to do? Also, if anyone has been in it or has applied it with effectiveness, please share your story! Thanks!!!

Also...does anyone know where I can find any clips or galleries showing either women applying it to women or women applying it to men? Thanks again.

Well it's quite simple, you put your up under the armpits of the other person, the clamp you hands together in a holding hand sense with the finger interlockes with each other, if comeone was just to apply it, it doesn't hurt, the way to make it hurt is by pushing pressure onto the back of the neck, in a way as if you were trying to get them to kiss their knees. The pressure can be so intense, you can cause them to pass out from pain and/or lack of air, and though people can break out of some peoples full nelsons by making a tenseness in the arms and applying their arms in a downward motion, you can also keep a great hold on a person by how strong your grip is. I've noticed Chris Masters holds his hands a lot as if his hands were in a clapping sense, though I tend to have a stronger hold by interlocking my hands and fingers. If I could show a picture of what I mean I would, but hopefully I gave you a well enough visual.

OK first you apply a half nelson and go deep for best gription, bring in the other half while he's responding.

Lock your fingers..... crossed fingered was my prferred but perhaps "the masterpiece's" style is better with hooked fingers it may allow it to be slightly tighter.

The hold doesn't hurt really generally, but consider the position you are in. If you have the hold on you control the balance and if you lean forward and fall on them they cannot protect their face with their hands now can they?

Stand behind your victim, then stick your arms striaght through under thier armpits. Then, bend your elbows and bring your hands together on the back of thier head.

It's a decent hold, but if someone is very flexible, they can duck out of it by overextending their shoulders behind them. The other thing a person can do while in the hold is to trip the person behnd them and fall on top of them.

yes i know how to properly apply the full nelson...and yes i have had it put on me...my dad is wrestler and he has been training people to wrestle since before i can remember...he has trained me and my siblings...i would tell you how to apply one...but my dad does like me to exchange info like that sorry...and as far as my experience being put in one...it actually hurt...when my dad applied it to me i could hardly breath...at first i thought it was just because of me...but then he put it on my brother and just about made him pass out...it is not something to play around with that is for sure...you can really hurt someone if you apply it the wrong way...and you could totally damage someone if you apply to much pressure the right way...luckily my dad pulled back on the pressure.
