or

*when on the court, everybody is your enemy*

I don't know the exact words to a kind of quote like this, but I think I've heard it somewhere

It's a sports quote

does anyone know the person who said this quote and what the exact quote is?

Last night did you see them kick Arizona's butt. Do you think that they'll continue to do that for the rest of the season

Two very big, very strong, very young guys. Will they be the most compelling post battle in the next few years?

He's already grabbed 20+ rebound six times in his career. He jumps so high (he can kiss the rim) and is so big. Will he be dominating the rebounding scene in the NBA for the next few years? (Maybe until Greg Oden gives him some competition)

Even though the season is still in its infancy, the initial Phoenix-Dallas confrontation demonstrated exactly why the Suns, as presently administered and constituted, will not and cannot mount a serious challenge for the championship.
They have absolutely no defense. Every Sun bit on every fake. Without his long, stringy hair emphasizing unfair body contact, Nash's routine floppings went unwhistled. Stoudemire exhibited little lateral movement. Barbosa gambled for steals and overreacted in his assigned rotations. Boris Diaw is out of shape. The basket was always unprotected (Dallas shot 54.8 percent), as was the defensive glass (Dallas had 14 offensive rebounds). Overall, Phoenix collected only 25 rebounds (Dallas had 37).
With D'Antoni wielding the whip, the Phoenix Suns are more of a freak show than anything else. Freaky enough to win a bunch of regular season games, but not sound, or balanced enough to seriously contend for the gold ring

I think Kobe's main flaw is not saying FU enough to the people calling him a ball hog and continuing to shoot a lot which is what Jordan did.

Entering his third NBA season, Vujacic, the Lakers first round selection (27th overall) in the 2004 NBA draft, played in all 82 games last season, averaging 3.9 points and 1.7 assists in 17.7 minutes. The 6-7 guard has averaged 3.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 117 career games.

Lakers started 3-0 and a win against phoenix.
When kobe came back they were 1-3.
Radmanovic is adding points in the paint.
Farmar is getting a lot of minutes and has made them quality minutes.
Andrew Bynum is making his name known by having career-highs on blocking, scoring and rebounding.
Odom is becoming a force offensively and defensively.
Now Kobe is back, with more generosity, less shooting and doing more things on passing, defending, rebounding and stealing the ball.
Remember that Kobe is not yet a 100%.
Oh,there will be games that Phil Jackson will not be coaching because of his recovery on his hip surgery, maybe 5-6 games.
What do you think? Playoffs? 1st round? Semis? Conference Finals? Finals? Champions?

2006-11-11 15:23:10 · 9 answers · asked by Eternal Law 2

The numbers are as depressing as they are telling and expected: Odom averaged 28 points (on 54 percent shooting and 8-of-11 from behind the arc), 8.7 boards and 7.3 assists in the season's first three games, and put together marks of 12.3 points, 7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the three games since. Wonder what the difference is ... ? Could it be someone named Kobe? Oh well, at least the Lakers have lost two of three, after winning their first three. Nice going, No. 24.
