I suggest that the most powerful weapon of mass destruction is DEBT.

During the "cold war", we had MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction). Now, we dont have the American-Soviet threat anymore, but we still have MAD: Mutual Assured DEBT.

Global debt. Personal debt. International debt. Corporate debt. Government debt. Insolvency. Deficits. Global inter-related and inter-dependent debt.

National power is measured by which country has the most debt, and the strongest military. If any one country goes bankrupt, it brings down everybody else: MUTUAL ASSURED DEBT (MAD).

Am I right? Or wrong?

The question is why does it happen? This is a highly theoretical situation, but if prices remain the same, the AD curve must be horizontal between output levels of 20,000 to 26,000 units (below the 26,000 possible outputs). Real output is highly sensitive to changes in price.

What I mean is how many people can change their own oil, do their own taxes, fix a simple leak in their house, etc. it slightly worries me that soon people will be become overly dependent on these professionals and well they have the ability to screw us all over...heck look at gas prices...what if places started upcharging like gas companies do for simple services?
