Globalisation has created opportunities for genetic mixing and interracial marriages. Today we see increasing numbers of Eurasians, mulattos, mestizos, and all sorts of multiracial people. With increasing interracial marriages and more exposure to different global races, do u think there is a time in the far future when the human race will become homogeneous and that there will be no more racial distinctions? What do u reckon this new multiracial human will look like?

... if that particular individual has never experienced any hair related trauma involving either themselves, a loved one, or a family member? Is there another means by which a profound love of hair and haircutting (female head hair to be specific) may find a means of manifesting itself, such as via imprinting. Could a hair fetish be instinctive. Is a hair fetish necessarily related to domination over another person's appearance, or could it be something more mutual? Could it in fact be a morphism of the primate grooming fetish often observed in chimps and bonobos (evolutionary origin)? Is a hair fetish always sexual? Is it normal provided that most humans find hair to be either a cosmetic priority or an important part of self-expression? Is it widespread considering the large potential for ill experiences with a person's hair, either regarding hair envy for one else's hair or a bad hair cut experienced by the person or a family member or a loved one?

I've heard that some animals will go away by themselves and hide before they die, because they know they're going to die. Is it the same for humans? Do we push others away and try to be alone more and more if we know we're going to die or commit suicide?

What can I do with a BA in Anth? It's too late for me to change my major now as I have 40 creds to graduate. I was thinking of going to law school (but I doubt I have the GPA), and I was also thinking of becoming a police officer (though I'm scared to get tazed or pepper-sprayed), I would love to do Archaeology but I hate being in the hot sun for more than 2 minutes.. Jeez, I've pretty much ruled out everything, huh??

I'm so tired of people being uneducated about race. People actually rely on their eyes on what a person's race is. If someone does that they are most likely going to get a person's race wrong. I have seen many biracial people that physically look more of one race over the other when they are actually both! My cousin is white and asian she looks straight up asian. You would never even think that she is part white just by looking at her. Just because she looks more asian than white does that make her less white? Hell no it doesn't! I have a friend that is black and white and he looks more white than black, the only black thing about him is that he has dark hair and eyes, most people mistake him for Italian. Does that make him less black? Hell no it doesn't! That girl from High School Musical, Vanessa Hudgens is white and asian, but comes out looking hispanic. Just because she looks hispanic does that mean she's not white and asian? Hell no! Race is more than physical apperance!!!

That their presence in observing a culture might make their subjects act differently than they would if the anthropologist were not there. It seems like this would be a persistent question that anthropologists would be asked, so I'm curious as to how they answer it.

Does anyone have a professional methodological reference that I can look up?

I need it for my personal research.

One of Darwin's main tenents was the notion that only the "fit" survive. Over time and through evolution, according to the commonly-accepted theory, the strongest survive and the weakest don't make it.

If you believe in that theory, then don't you have to also believe that it's okay for species to become extinct -- because they must not have been "fit enough" to survive extinction?

Conversely, if you believe we should protect animals from extinction, and you are intillectually honest, shouldn't you reframe your thinking on evolution and conclude that there is, in fact, no such thing as survival of the fittest?

Rome
Greece
Persia
Egypt
The Celts
China
The Maya
Native Americans

If you feel that I have left some out feel free to make an addition.

It's been researched that genetically, humans have ties to fewer men than women. Meaning, that alpha males once produced the most children. Because those who could provide safety and comfort were fewer then today, do you think that human evolution is slowing down- that there is very little natural selection taking place in our sepcies?

I heard a lecture a long time ago which compared two language topics and how it closely correlates to fall of the culture that uses the language. One was an increase in the use of sarcasm which represents the last form of honest communication when all other forms have failed. Two, dissembling the meaning of common words (Example would be parties who don’t agree what the word greed means).
The trouble is, trying typing any of that into a search engine and get any results. I haven’t been able to. So I am asking for any resources that might backup any of topics above becuase its very possible my memmory of the details are completely inaccurate.
