Here's the problem:
From the combustion of C2H6, a mixture of CO2 and H2O with a mass of 5.65 g was produced. The volume of the vessel containing the mixture was 8.45L and the temperature was 150 degrees C.
A)Write balanced equation:
Here I came up with 2C2H6 + 7O2= 4CO2+6H20
B)Determine mole fraction of each:

Please answer only if you have actual knowledge or have advanced degree in chemistry. Please list in order from strongest to weakest: paint thinner, lacquer thinner, gasoline, acetone, kerosene, disel fuel, jet fuel. I'm trying to determine what is the best way to clean the fuel system in my old chevy truck that run on high octane gas, and an old disel tractor that has been sitting idle for more than a year old. Thank you.

ok. so my proj is the effect of diiferent solutes on the temperature of boiling water

i chose six solutes.

and my hypotheisis is that salt will cause the maximum rise in the temperature. and sugar will cause the lowest
i went by intution and my teacher says i shld hv reasons to support my hypothesis.

wat should be my hypothesis

Compared to Cl− or Br−, in the 2-butanol reaction,

a. H2O is a relatively good nucleophile, because it had to be avoided during the workup procedure.
b. H2O is a relatively poor nucleophile, because no or very little alcohol is observed in the GC.
c. H2O is a relatively poor nucleophile, because it carries no negative charge.
d. H2O is a relatively good nucleophile, because the yield of halides was low due to back-reaction with water.

can anyone help with this?

as you are cleaning the kitchen cupboards, you come across four unlabelled jars, each containing clear, colourless liquids. You then find the four paper labels that must have fallen off the jars. The labels contain the following headings: water, rubbing alcohol, vingar, and salt water. Design an experiment that would allow you to determine the identity of each of the substances. Your experimental design should include:

+a detailed, coherent, and logical procedure
+a list of materials and exquipment
+a list of safety considerations, e.g., No tasting allowed!
+an observation chart
+three questions that would help you analyze your data in order to properly identify each substance
+a conclusion (or a statement about making connections or applications)
