How come if you ask a question some snobby punk thinks is ridiculous, he answers with the year? Like "That's ridiculous. It's 2007." What the hell does the year have to do with anything? Do you think people in the past were like "what a stupid idea.It's 1443, for pete's sake." Other then the fact that they didn't say "for pete's sake" back the, I think this is a valid question.

The Senate will be voting, as early as today, on S.1105, the so-called "hate crimes" bill. see how homosexuals murdered heterosexuals but were not charged with a hate crime. Had the roles been reversed - the victims homosexual and the perpetrators heterosexual - they could have been charged. Under S.1105, homosexuals are a "protected class" while heterosexuals are not.

All crimes are hateful--and personally I am all for locking them up --but the liberal courts let em go - especially when their in a 'protected class'.......do you support this lunacy? Does your rep?

My psychic aunt passed away and left me her crystal ball. It was her most prized possesion. We were very close. Anyway, one night I had friends over and after a few drinks we pulled it out to see if we could see anything. I swear to a stack of Bibles I saw 2 people - a guy and girl - just looking about. Often, when I'm in a dark room, I feel like there's a presence there. Sometimes, I have dreams about events that actually do happen a few days later and get de ja vu. I also rarely daydream about events that will happen. I get songs stuck in my head before I even hear them. And I know this sounds odd, but when I am about to have something bad happen, I know it. Do I have ESP or is it my imagination?

If parapsychology is a serious field, I assume that there are some well known universities out there and some well known professors, that you can get training from.
I know I have seen little diploma mill ads in the back of magazines, advertising their correspondence courses, but I am talking about real scientific training, and real scientists.
I assume you would need training in psychology, physics, scientific methods, technology and many other areas. And not be biased in doing your investigating, as it seems many are.
It seems that there are not many really scientifically trained individuals out there. It also seems that most already believe that all of the events are paranormal, and they are just looking for evidence to back their beliefs up, and they have already made up their minds.
So are there legitimate programs, and legitimate trained professionals out there?
Or are most just plumbers that do it on the side, and are very gullible?

I have noticed the few psychics that I have seen around the town advertising, as spirit readers, etc, live in small, sometimes shack like houses. It seems to me that they would all be very wealthy, I mean just from betting on sporting events. Or able to charge thousands for their services. Or are they just very humble people. Seems like the number of famous psychics, I can count on one hand. And I have seen them perform terribly. But they are rich, while the majority are not. So are most poor? Or just act like it.
