Video & Online Games - December 2006

Ive got one usb modem runing straight to my downstairs pc but my slimline ps2 is upstairs. i DONT have admin privilages on the pc so i cant use the network setup wizard and cant plug my ps2 into the ethernet port on the back because of it, to make matters worse i dont even have a router and noone in the house has the knowledge to set 1 up if i did soo i was wondering, and this really is my last hope, if i could buy a second modem (an ethernet one) and run that for my ps2. Do u guys no if itll work and do u think id have to pay double for the internet even though ps2 online is free?

i love the game but after 20 minutes my laptop just seems to die and can't be restarted or rebooted for about 10 min. to 2hours i cant understand this my laptop is maybe 6 months old at max please help.

What is your pick for GOTY? Im going with Gears of War because it lived up to all the hype and exceeded my expectations, which even Halo 2 didnt do. The only other games that exceeded all my expectations were San Andreas, Ocarina Of Time, and Oblivion.

I have the Sims Complete Collection for my iBook G4, and for some reason about 5 minutes into the game (after it loads into whatever house I pick) it crashes. It doesn't matter which family I use or which neighborhood or what they are doing when it crashes, it always does. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Some of the games that are produced are so addictive. I know someone, somewhere has not gone to work for a few days so they can get to the next event or level. I haven't done this, but I could.

I absolutely love the game Killzone for the Play Station 2. However, I play the Battlefield option (usually play a Helghast with one other member, with 6 or 7 ISA against me). It seriously helps me to unwind after a stressful day!

I understand Killzone 3 will (eventually) be released for the PS3. Does anyone know if this version will feature the non-game Battlefield feature? If so, I might buy the PS3, even if it doesn't have the controller physical feedback (rumble).
