why is it when i play maple story my laptop turns off?

i love the game but after 20 minutes my laptop just seems to die and can't be restarted or rebooted for about 10 min. to 2hours i cant understand this my laptop is maybe 6 months old at max please help.

the whole thing and it's pluged in the wall socket when i play maple story.

maybe you have to much downloded ...or u have to recharge your labtop's battery :P
