i haven't been camping for ten years, and now that i'm older i'm worried about bugs snakes and all that. i'm camping in Traverse City Michigan, what animals are up there. don't laugh at me to much

How do you do a simple twirl with a baton? i don't want anything fancy, just to be able to twirl it continuously while i move my arm around.
Any tips on how to position my fingers/move my wrist etc. I am a complete beginner!

I've looked for local classes and found none :-( and couldn't see any BASIC instruction on internet (it was all show routines etc)
