I mean really. Last time a video game system came out that cost that much, it was called a 3DO I think, and it sucked. :)
But seriously, at that price....why *do* you need to pay more for the larger hard disk and the wireless controllers? And why, *why*, WHY do players still have to deal with that crappy, Four Chiclets of Death crappy standard controller? I rather *liked* the original boomerang design for the PS3 controller....
And more to the point, why PAY through the nose for a video game system when the *standard controller* is anything BUT perfect? Really, maybe I just have these freakishly large, *grown up* thumbs, *lol* but I can't get a *diagonal* to work on a Sony Playstation controller to save my life. Which sucks with arcade style, skills-intensive games that *I generally like to play* because they generally do NOT let you use the analog thumbsticks for alternative control.
So I don't get it. :) Why pay so much for a system that isn't perfect?
